Quickcast on starcraft 23/14/2023 Just saying.NO the quick cast bar are slots above your current action bar where you drag skills into it…at least that’s how it’s described. If I crank everything up to max (because my PC can handle it), it looks WAY better than that nonsense you posted. If I turn everything down to the minimum on my game, it looks like the stuff you posted. My starport couldn't field Banshees and my Factory couldn't build Goliaths (the buttons simply weren't there) so I had to counter heavy Protoss air tech with just marines, nukes and creative missile turret placement. Some of that just looks like your computer is shitty and can't handle any kind of decent graphical settings. After looking up a Tutorial on how to locate the SC2 screenshot folder, I went ahead and took a few captures to illustrate my point:Īnd then there is the new Beach tileset which does earn some praise for being a refreshing change from the usual warzone but unfortunately it is also bogged down by impracticalities such as stairs that appear to be impassable cliffs:įinally, one interesting bug I encountered was that I couldn't build new units during the introductory mission. I really hate to be the one to say it but Nova: Covert Ops mission pack 2 feels rushed out of the gate. picking one probe and shift clicking several pylons at once is just nice. u can rely only on urself.Īs to the race, i picked protoss because its the least macro focused at the cost of micro, u dont have to manage additional tech labs attached to buildings, dont have to inject larvas etc however protoss has most spellcasting units such as sentries, templars, phoenixes but i guess i prefer that over macro.Īlso i really like building several things with just one worker. there is no teammates to blame, there is noone else to drag down. I find sc2 appealing because of 1v1 aspect. but now when i try to play sc2 its total chaos i want to actually play the game and learn from that. i want to win every single match against it without cheesing. If i eventually get a grasp of the game i then might add, change and adapt build myself and start playing ranked hopefully.Īgain i remind u this spine of a build is to help me learn the game versus AI. i want this to be as allaround as possible, because with this backbone So what would be the most versatile army composition ? when should i expand to a 3rd base ? at how many workers should i stop ? everything that is obvious to most people might not be to me, so every piece of information is valuable. However i want this backbone of a standard build procedure to learn manual skills and get familiar with the game against AI, instead of getting stressed and frustrated. im aware in this game u cant just stick to one build, u need to scout and adapt. im always thinking about what to build next and still fail miserably with timings, with economy macro, with everything because of that. i never have an exact plan on what i want to do. I often struggle even with the AI on highest difficulty (insane or elite, whatever its called). i certainly respect the game more than i enjoy it. theres actually so much to this game its overwhelming and makes me avoid it, playing something easier and more enjoyable such as heroes of the storm or overwatch. I dont play this game as much as i would like to because its too hard for me. because jack of all trades is master of none, however my only goal for now is dominating AI in 1v1, not playing ranked against players. I know there isnt an allaround build good for everything. Official forums seem ded just as this thread, so ill post on both.
